Polymer Products of India was established in 1991 with the objective of supplying high-quality custom made rubber components for various segments including the railways, defense, and mining industries.

Over the past 30 years, PPI has emerged as a significant vendor of rubber, plastic, and metal-to-rubber bonded items for the Indian Railways. All items have been tested and approved by either the Research Design & Standards Organization (RDSO), Lucknow or Integral Coach Factory, Chennai, Modern Coach Factory, Rae Bareilly and Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala.
